Description

To support the growth of Clockwise, we are looking to recruit a skilled Data Analyst to our team. You will work across all areas of our business leveraging data to provide actionable insights and analysis.
This role requires a strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and proficiency in data visualisation, reporting, and statistical analysis. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to translate complex data into meaningful narratives, empowering teams to make informed, data-driven decisions.
Your primary objective is to transform data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements. You will be responsible for gathering, analysing, and interpreting data to identify trends, optimise processes, and enhance the member experience. You will collaborate with internal teams to develop reports, dashboards, and data models that drive business performance and efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum two years’ experience in a data analysis role, preferably within a commercial or financial services environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools for data manipulation and processing.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as PowerBI
  • Knowledge of programming languages (Desirable)
  • Experience with database management systems like Microsoft SQL Server
  • Understanding of business analysis and database design principles
  • Proficient in using Visio for process mapping and documentation

Responsibilities
  1. Data Collection & Processing – Gather, clean, and prepare data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability.
  2. Data Analysis & Insights – Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic decision-making and operational improvements.
  3. Reporting & Visualization – Develop clear, insightful reports and interactive dashboards using tools such as Power BI or Excel to communicate findings to stakeholders.
  4. Performance Monitoring – Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics, providing regular updates to leadership on trends and areas for improvement.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Support – Work closely with senior management and teams across the business to provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis.
  6. Automation & Process Optimisation – Identify opportunities to automate data processes, streamline reporting, and improve operational efficiency.
  7. Data Governance & Compliance – Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with industry regulations, including GDPR and internal policies.
  8. Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with IT, finance, marketing, and operations teams to support data-driven initiatives and improve business outcomes.
  9. Market & Member Insights – Analyse member behaviour, lending trends, and financial patterns to enhance services and product offerings.
  10. Continuous Learning & Development – Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data analytics to enhance skills and business impact.
