We’re hiring an experienced Data Analyst to support a major digital transformation initiative in the public sector. In this role, you’ll analyze complex datasets, build dashboards, and deliver actionable insights to guide strategic decisions. You’ll work with stakeholders to define reporting requirements, ensure data accuracy, and leverage tools like Power BI and SQL for advanced analytics. Roles and responsibilities Capture CDEs: Collaborate with business stakeholders (e.g., via workshops or interviews) to identify and document existing and additional CDEs, ensuring they meet the needs of the CRM, on-premises applications, and analytics, critical for Phase 2 & 3 deliverables. Document CDEs: Create detailed CDE documentation, including metadata (e.g., definitions, attributes, sources, business rules), to support migration, iPaaS synchronization, and governance. Support Data Architect: Provide CDE documentation to the Data Architect for logical model refinement, CRM mapping, and stakeholder sign-off. Collaborate with Data Governance Specialist: Ensure CDE documentation supports governance policies and Microsoft Purview configuration (e.g., data quality, compliance). Contribute to Testing: Assist in defining CDE-specific test cases to validate accuracy during migration and iPaaS synchronisation. Enable Learning: Produce clear, accessible CDE documentation to help the team understand and manage data assets. Equivalent of 4+ years of extensive professional experience in a data analyst role. Ideally, should have experience in performing this role in a medium to large organisation. A bachelor's degree in fields such as Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field Experience collaborating with business stakeholders through workshops and interviews for the purpose of identifying and documenting CDE Experience with SQL data language to check and validate results. Experience collaborating with Data Architect, Governance and Development teams to support migration, integration, governance and model refinements.
