SUMMARY

Turns data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions. Conducts full life cycle analytical activities to include requirements analysis and design, development of data analysis, reporting, visualization enhancement, continuous monitoring of performance, and quality control plans to identify opportunities. Supports the configuration and administration of analytic tools, the development and use of databases, data marts, reports, dashboards, and the interpretation of data and analysis results using statistical techniques.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Computer and Information Systems, Health Care Administration, or related field. Equivalent years of applicable experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
  • 3 years Analytic and information services.
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, relational database design, data visualization tools, and dashboard design.
  • Knowledge of and practical experience with reporting packages and databases (SQL/TSQL and SQL Server Management Studios) as well as Qualtrics, Program Evaluations, Outcome Analysis.
  • Strong analytic skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information.
  • Adept at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Expertise with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with PARS/NARS, Learning Management System (TLC), Tableau, and educational outcomes and measurements.
  • Ability to analyze and solve data management problems and to analyze and interpret statistical data.

  • Master’s Degree

Responsibilities
  • Utilizes best-in-class advanced analytics and data visualization techniques to satisfy data needs related but not limited to student, graduate, and experienced nurses.
  • Creates data systems to track educational metrics data for ACCME, ANCC and NRP Programs.
  • Conducts or coordinates tests to ensure the integrity of developed reports, dashboards and transformation.
  • Applies analytics to government-sponsored healthcare providers and regulatory educational programs.
  • Maintains and updates business intelligence tools, dashboards, systems, and methods.
  • Creates or reviews technical design documentation to ensure the accurate development of reporting solutions.
  • Implements reporting solutions and enhancements and presents preliminary versions to the appropriate DoE senior leadership, managers, and staff.
