You will also contribute to the Nordic cooperation initiative, aiming to transfer Euroclear Sweden's core CSD functions to a shared IT platform by 2030. This supports the European Savings and Investment Union by standardizing IT infrastructure, operating practices, and strengthening Euroclear’s Nordic services. Data Governance & Policy Implementation (Primary focus for first 2–3 years)  * Implement and maintain data governance standards, ensuring consistent data definitions, lineage, classification, and retention rules across the organization.  * Drive the rollout of data policies, ensuring compliance in a regulated financial market infrastructure environment.  * Build and maintain inventories of data assets, ensuring transparency, traceability, and fitness for purpose.  * Work with stakeholders to ensure that governance rules are understood and applied across teams.  Holistic Understanding of the Data Warehouse  * Develop a deep understanding of the structure, logic, and dependencies within Euroclear Finland’s complex financial data warehouse.  * Map source systems, business processes, and data flows to support both operational and analytical needs.  * Connect business requirements with technical implementations to ensure data accuracy and reliability.  Business Meaningful Data Views & Insights  * Build standardized, governed, and business aligned data views for internal stakeholders (e.g., product management, operations, risk, finance).  * Develop data assets that support service development and regulatory reporting.  * Translate raw data into information models that are easy to interpret and use.  Cloud & Technical Enablement  * Collaborate with Euroclear’s cloud teams to support the implementation and adoption of cloud data tools.  * Contribute to developing cloud-based data pipelines, metadata catalogues and quality monitoring frameworks.  * Support the modernization of data environments using approved Euroclear cloud technologies.  Cross Functional Collaboration  * Work with Product Management, Operations, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Euroclear Group teams to ensure data aligns with business needs.  * Participate in group-wide governance initiatives and harmonization efforts where applicable.    What we are looking for  * Strong analytical skills, solid business understanding, and a sense of accountability  * Hands-on experience in data governance, data policies, or data quality management  * At least 5 years of relevant professional experience  * University degree or equivalent experience, ideally in technology or business  * Experience in data product development, requirements gathering, or project or program management  * A good grasp of data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and metadata management  * Ability to translate business needs into structured and governed data assets  * Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Finnish and English are important  * Background in the financial sector is considered beneficial but not required  * Familiarity with SQL and modern cloud data tools in Azure, such as DataBricks and PowerBI, are valuable  * Curiosity and some foundational knowledge of AI models and cloud-native machine learning services, and an interest in how they can enhance Euroclear Finland’s services and operations, are welcome  * Independent, customer-focused mindset with a positive and proactive attitude  * Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work under strict timelines  * Ability to thrive in an international and multicultural environment, adapting easily to diverse teams and perspectives.
