The Role B2B Payments is a value stream at Etraveli Group’s FinTech division, dedicated to strengthening the company’s competitive edge by optimizing the business value derived from outbound payments to airlines. The Data Analyst role in B2B Payments is exposed to the global FinTech and Air Travel Distribution industries within a fast-paced technology organization, with an emphasis on business analytics related to revenue performance, service quality, and cost efficiency. The role requires the development of deep subject matter knowledge on payments and travel data elements and their dynamics as well as how these data are reflected in the company’s systems to be utilized for business insights extraction. The B2B Payments Data Analyst is responsible for maintaining, enhancing, and supporting the development of new data models, dashboards, and reports, working in direct collaboration with the company’s Business Intelligence (BI) organization. Responsibilities Become Subject Matter Expert on B2B Payments data models on the company’s Business Intelligence systems (Looker, Qlik and internal tools). Work closely with the commercial and operational teams within B2B Payments to maximize data-driven decision-making and discover value-generating insights. Own and evolve the department’s reporting package involving: routine reporting, updated documentation of data definitions and a clear roadmap for BI capability development. Take initiative to introduce new measures, visualization angles and dashboards that enhance business knowledge and reveal value dynamics. Support the department with analytics for routine commercial planning, forecasting, and ad-hoc business case validations. Collaborate with BI developers to communicate business requirements and define specifications for the improvement of existing or the development of new data models. Identify areas of risk, evaluate and escalate to the relevant teams as needed. Create and present comprehensive materials to communicate findings effectively. Requirements University degree, preferably in a STEM, Economics, Business or Finance domain. 1-3 years working experience in a similar data analyst position working with large volume transactional data sets. Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets Good use of at least one self service BI application (e.g. Qlik, Power BI, Tableau, Looker etc.) Basic understanding of the end-to-end analytics development process: data extraction, cleaning, transformation, analysis, and visualization Ability to understand stakeholder objectives and deliver insightful, tailored visualizations with appropriate framing and focus. Clear communicator who can explain data in a way that non-technical teams understand. Team player who thrives in a diverse, international, fast-changing environment.
