Agile Business Analyst

Sydney | Hybrid | Full-timeOur client is seeking an experienced Agile Business Analyst to join their team in Sydney. This is a great opportunity for a BA with strong insurance experience who enjoys working across Business, Product, Engineering and QA to deliver meaningful solutions.

About the role

• You'll play a key role across discovery, requirements, delivery and UAT, including:Facilitating discovery workshops and requirements gathering
• Developing clear user stories and BDD/Gherkin acceptance criteria
• Breaking down epics into delivery-ready stories and supporting backlog refinement
• Assessing business and technical impacts across complex technology environments
• Working closely with Product, Engineering and QA to ensure solutions are clear, feasible and testable
• Supporting Agile ceremonies, UAT and business readiness
• Managing stakeholder relationships and identifying risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities

About you

• You'll ideally have:Strong experience as an Agile Business Analyst within insurance
• Experience across Agency Channels and/or Product Administration, including quoting, policy issuance and amendments
• Strong understanding of legacy systems, enterprise architecture and system integrations
• Proven experience with user stories, acceptance criteria, BDD/Gherkin and Agile delivery
• Experience working closely with QA, including a shift-left approach to quality
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience with UAT and business readiness
• Experience using AI-enabled tools within Business Analysis would be highly desirable
