JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an intermediate Data Analyst to join our team and drive data-driven decision making across the organization. This role combines technical expertise with business acumen to transform complex data into actionable insights that shape strategic direction and optimize business performance. This role will also play a key part in enabling self-service analytics by building scalable reporting tools that empower teams to answer their own business questions.
The ideal candidate has a background in business process improvement or optimization initiatives and knowledge of the music industry.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline)
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or related analytical role
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for data discovery, aggregation, and extraction from complex, disparate datasets
  • Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms (GCP, AWS, or similar)
  • Experience designing data models and semantic layers to support self-service reporting environments
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Google Data Studio) and expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
  • Programming experience in R, Python, or similar analytical languages
  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or advanced analytics techniques
  • Exceptional analytical thinking with meticulous attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work across teams and present insights to senior leadership
  • Proven ability to work independently, prioritize multiple projects, and make critical decisions autonomously
