Embark on a journey within our Information Security Business Unit and contribute in managing the IT Security, Compliance and IT Business continuity & Disaster Recovery activities of MCB Ltd and hosted entities. We are on the lookout for: Job vacancy: Data Analyst As a Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in analysing and interpreting large security data sets to derive defense and Indicator of Compromise intelligence. You will also collect and prepare data to build operational, management and executive reports and dashboards for measuring and tracking strategy, effectiveness and efficiency. In this role you will: Contribute/design comprehensive reports and dashboards that visualize CyberSecurity threats relevant to the organisation, with a view of enhancing efficiency and better mitigating risks; Ensure regulatory compliance by producing comprehensive regulatory reports; Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization and delivering high-quality professional services within established routines or as part of an agreed project; Prioritize own workflow and ensure work is completed to the required standards of productivity, quality, and timeliness; Carry out a range of research activities either to support others or to fulfill the requirements of the role; Develop own capabilities and maintain an understanding of Threat Intelligence, Cybersecurity key trends, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media; Develop knowledge and understanding of the organization's policies and procedures and of relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct to ensure own work adheres to those standards; Assist with CyberSecurity incidents by providing relevant Cyber Threat intelligence; Use counter threat Intelligence platforms to access specific information as and when required. To succeed, you will be required to demonstrate the following competencies: Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems; Adapting approach and demeanor in real time to match the shifting demands of different situations; Anticipates and adopts innovations in business-building digital and technology applications; Develops and delivers multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences; Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives; Works with full competence to create reports for various audiences as relevant, in a lucid and effective manner, keeping in mind the purpose of reports. We are looking for candidates who have a minimum of: EITHER A Bachelor’s degree in Computing, Cybersecurity, or a related field; 3 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity or IT, with a foundational understanding of security principles. OR A Professional certification in Computing or Cybersecurity (e.g., CEH, CTIA, or equivalent); 4 years of professional experience in Cybersecurity or IT, with a foundational understanding of security principles.
