The IDArch Team resides within the middle office and works on projects to enhance data management capabilities across the organization. Our focus includes leading Modern Data Platform (MDP) initiatives, building comprehensive metadata management frameworks, and acting as primary owners of the Investment Data Management platform, including security master, pricing master, and market reference data systems. Responsibilities

The IDArch Analyst is the bridge between system developers, the investment data management team, and key stakeholders including investment teams. As a business lead on MDP initiatives, you will work closely with investment managers, enterprise project team and various middle and back-office business units. You will leverage your financial and technical knowledge to provide critical investment data inputs across the investment operations process. Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish Metadata Management Framework: Lead the development of metadata management practices, including the creation of data lineage models, data cataloging, and data dictionary to ensure transparency, accessibility, and governance across all data assets.
  • Understand Data Models: Convert business requirements into conceptual and logical data models in cloud platforms like Fabric and Snowflake. Explain data modeling concepts to non-technical stakeholders and support their use across business units.
  • Implement Data Architecture Solutions: Collaborate on developing data integration systems, ETL processes, and centralizing data from multiple sources. Establish data governance strategies in partnership with data architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.
  • Enhance Security Master Data Management: Develop and reengineer processes to maintain the accuracy and integrity of equity, fixed income, and derivative data within the security master system, ensuring consistency across multiple systems and databases.
  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to various strategic projects in collaboration with operational, engineering, and senior management teams.
  • Assess Current Tools and Data Management Needs: Analyze existing data management tools and infrastructure to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Optimize Data Workflows: Innovate and improve data workflows related to vendor systems, internal and market data transfers, valuation, and benchmarking, enhancing efficiency and reliability across all data processing operations.
  • Advance Data Quality Assurance: Implement strategies to improve data quality, resolving data-quality exceptions, and upholding high standards of accuracy.
