On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst - IT Security for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 4 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

DATA ANALYST - IT SECURITY - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves leveraging audit and regulatory data to enhance risk management and compliance through advanced analytics and predictive modeling. This role plays a key part in strengthening risk frameworks and enabling data-driven decision-making for leadership.

DATA ANALYST - IT SECURITY - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Power Platform tools.
• Expertise in risk patterns and forecasting emerging risks.
• Understanding of audit and regulatory methods.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced knowledge of visualization tools like PowerBI and Tableau.
• Experience with advanced Excel functionalities.
• Familiarity with language query and data modeling techniques.

DATA ANALYST - IT SECURITY – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Banking experience.

• Execute data strategy and lead advanced analytics solutions.
• Design and deploy statistical and machine learning models.
• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights.
• Develop executive dashboards and reports for risk intelligence.
