JOB SUMMARY

Galapagos Federal Systems LLC is looking for an enthusiastic, well-qualified individual to fill the Data Analyst L2 position. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a high-performing team dedicated to advancing space capabilities in support of national defense.
We are looking for a candidate with proven technical expertise to provide meaningful, actionable data analytics from a variety of data sources and systems to support Space Training and Readiness Command leadership decisions and enterprise policy creation and reporting.
Compensation Minimum: $130,000
Compensation Maximum: $142,000
Job Requirements:

DATA ANALYST L2 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance
• 5+ years of practical expertise and relevant Department of Defense (DoD) experience
• Demonstrated experience analyzing complex data from dashboards, business processes, pilot activities, and other activities to extract actionable insights
• Expertise in preparing and presenting understandable results of data analytics that drive stakeholders’ decisions on programs and processes
• Collected, gathered, and prepared large datasets from various sources, including cleaning and standardizing data for analysis, and creating compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders
• Created visualization reports using Microsoft Power Apps
• Collaborated with stakeholders to define data needs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Implemented predictive models to forecast trends
• Ensured data quality and accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to execute tasks independently

DATA ANALYST L2 SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor of Art (BA), Bachelor of Science (BS)
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time and typing and reading from a computer screen. The candidate must have enough mobility, including bending, reaching, and kneeling, to complete daily duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and that may include lifting up to thirty pounds, as necessary.
