Description:

The Opportunity:
Avantor is looking for an experienced and data-driven Data Analyst, to join our team based in Limerick, Ireland. In this position you’ll be the single point of contact for Inventory Management consumption and Laboratory & Production services analytics.
This role will be a full-time permanent position, offered on a remote basis, however if you’re based in Dublin, you’re welcomed to come to our local office. Working hours: Monday to Friday, core hours

THE TEAM

You’ll belong to our business department Laboratory and Product Services, which supports big pharmaceutical companies and laboratories all over the world, in Research and Development within the Life Sciences industry.

What we’re looking for

  • Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Analytics/IT/Statistics or equivalent experience
  • Experience:
  • 2-5 years of experience in data analysis, ideally within an operational or production setting, with experience in VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) systems
  • Proficient in data analysis, with demonstrated experience in managing and analysing large datasets. This includes skills in SQL, Power BI, and Python for data manipulation and analysis, as well as Tableau for dashboard creation
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including advanced Excel for data tracking and analysis
  • Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management and process optimizationAbility to develop forecasting models and predictive analytics,
