REQUIREMENTS
- Proven proficiency in SQL and experience working with data warehouses like Redshift.
- Hands-on data modeling skills and familiarity with dbt.
- Understanding of SAP-data and the SAP-system as well as Finance processes.
- Adeptness in translating business needs into data models.
- Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written in English. German is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and insights from data.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assume responsibility for the development and refinement of the data models in our Redshift data warehouse.
- Help transition our current MS Navision-based financial reporting to a newly designed SAP-based reporting.
- Act as a bridge between Finance Controlling, Finance Tech and Data Department. Systematically translate business requirements and questions into precise data queries and insightful data models.
- Provide crucial support to our Embedded Analysts and Finance Controlling Team, aiding in their understanding and utilization of the data warehouse.
- Engage with stakeholders across the organization driving value from our data.
