Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly capable Data/Business Analyst to help us track, analyze, and govern Commercial Data. You will sit at the intersection of Finance, Pricing, and RevOps, acting as a vital part of the analytical engine behind our commercial operation.

You’ll need to manipulate large, complex data sets derived from a broad spectrum of systems. You should be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of analysis concepts, tools and techniques. The successful candidate should be able to articulate and present complex information and data clearly in the form of dashboards, scorecards & reports.

Because you will frequently collaborate with non-technical stakeholders, you must be skilled at interpreting requirements, discovering new datasets, and executing iteratively in an agile environment. Part of your role will be to act as a dedicated analyst, working with stakeholders that require absolute precision in their metrics. To contextualize the data being processed, you should be able to liaise with subject matter experts. The ideal candidate will have a mix of curiosity and passion along with a drive for results.

This is a full-time, hybrid role which will require you to work from our Berlin office 3 days per week.

Impact You’ll Own:

  • Consumption Tracking: Build the data models required to trace quota & credit consumption
  • Audit & Compliance: Build data products that pass rigorous financial audits using factual records
  • Data Pipeline Engineering: Translate complex commercial business logic into robust SQL and dbt pipelines
  • Executive Insight: Design + build LookerStudio dashboards offering clear & actionable findings
  • AI-Assisted Engineering: We heavily leverage AI in our daily workflows. You will architect logic, define decision thresholds, let AI handle routine coding, and meticulously validate output
  • Reconcile & Triangulate: You will perform rigorous validation and testing of your data to ensure trust

What You Bring:

  • Advanced SQL skills and demonstrable experience querying large databases (Google BigQuery preferred)
  • A mix of curiosity and stamina; you are risk-tolerant, comfortable with light structure, and thrive in a scale-up environment
  • Experience with coding language principles, version control (Git), and data transformation tools (dbt)
  • A proactive and highly flexible team player, comfortable collaborating closely with a globally distributed team spanning European and US time zones
  • A bachelor or masters degree in Business, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or similar quantitative field
  • 4-6 years of experience in data analysis, with a strong emphasis on Finance, commercial transactions and SaaS solutions like Salesforce & Netsuite
