WHAT YOU’LL NEED

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Mathematics or related field;
• Proficiency in SQL and data modeling (experience with Data Vault is a plus);
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or similar cloud data platforms;
• Understanding of data ethics and best practices in working with sensitive information;
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methods and data governance tools is a plus;
• Working knowledge of Power BI and data visualization;
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Data Analyst
• € 3.000 - € 4.000 gross per month (depending on experience)
• Working at Schiedam, The Netherlands
• 32-40 hours per week
  Are you passionate about transforming complex data into actionable insights? As a Data Analyst at Mammoet, you’ll connect business stakeholders with our data engineering team to drive data-informed decisions. You’ll design robust analytics and intuitive dashboards that support our strategy and operations. You’ll be part of our dynamic Data & Analytics team, a collaborative group based in Schiedam and Dubai, dedicated to driving fact-based decision-making across the organization. We value continuous learning, creativity, and cross-functional teamwork. In this role, you’ll translate business needs into clear insights, ensuring data is relevant, accurate, and impactful - fostering a culture of data-driven thinking across Mammoet.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Collaborating with business teams to gather, understand and translate data and reporting requirements;
• Designing, supporting and delivering Power BI dashboards and reports for a variety of stakeholders;
• Working closely with data engineers to implement robust data models on Azure Synapse and other platforms;
• Performing data profiling and quality checks and defining business rules to ensure reliable insights;
• Supporting the creation of documentation and templates for data governance and self-service analytics;
• Advocating for continuous improvement and innovative analytics solutions within the team.
