POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a data-driven, strategic thinker to join our team and drive insights that fuel our competitive advantage in the automotive industry. This role is integral to identifying trends, understanding business metrics, and enhancing processes. You will work closely with leadership to transform raw data into actionable intelligence, optimizing strategies for growth and operational efficiency.
SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in a data analytics role, preferably in e-commerce, manufacturing, or automotive industries.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, along with experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong understanding of statistical methods, predictive analytics, and demand forecasting.
- Excellent analytical skills with a focus on problem-solving and strategic business thinking.
- Effective communicator, capable of translating technical data into actionable insights for a diverse audience.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong business acumen with a focus on e-commerce and product performance.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyse product sales, customer behaviour, and market trends to identify key insights that drive strategic decisions.
- Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources, including customer feedback, sales reports, and supply chain data.
- Partner with leadership to develop and refine business strategies, from customer acquisition to retention.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align data insights with company goals, ensuring cohesive strategy execution.
- Create clear, visually compelling dashboards and reports that translate complex data into understandable metrics for internal teams.
- Present actionable insights and key findings to management, enabling data-driven decisions across departments.
- Develop predictive models to forecast product demand, anticipate sales trends, and optimize inventory management.
- Leverage statistical techniques to conduct market segmentation and assess customer lifetime value.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies within sales, marketing, and supply chain functions.
- Recommend and support the implementation of advanced analytics tools to improve data accessibility and analysis.
- Work closely with IT, sales, and product development to ensure data consistency and alignment across departments.
- Act as a data resource for all teams, promoting a data-centric culture across the organization.
