CONSTRUCTION SERVICES PRACTICE Michael Baker International’s Construction Services staff supports clients by acting as their trusted on-site agent through all phases of construction, from pre-design to close-out, by providing qualified construction managers, inspectors, constructability reviewers, schedulers, estimators and safety experts. As new technologies evolve throughout the construction industry, innovative ideas are required to maintain and deliver successful construction projects. DESCRIPTION We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to support our civil engineering and construction teams by managing project data, assisting with administrative tasks, and ensuring smooth operations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, analytical, and able to compile reports and maintain essential documentation for construction projects. RESPONSIBILITIES * Collect, organize, and maintain project records, including contracts, budgets, schedules, and reports. * Assist with data entry and document management to support project planning and execution. * Prepare summaries and reports for engineers, project managers, and stakeholders. * Monitor project timelines and flag any discrepancies or delays. * Handle general clerical duties, including filing, scanning, and maintaining organized documentation. * Communicate with vendors and suppliers to track deliveries and update inventory records. * Support project teams by ensuring all administrative tasks are completed efficiently. * Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and distribute necessary documentation. PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS * Strong organizational and administrative skills. * Ability to analyze and process project data with accuracy and attention to detail. * Experience with basic office software (Excel, Word, Outlook). * Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. * Capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills: * Prior experience in a construction or civil engineering office setting. * Knowledge of industry-specific documentation and filing systems. * Familiarity with project scheduling and cost tracking. COMPENSATION  The approximate compensation range for this position is $24.00 an hour. This compensation range is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting.  Actual compensation is dependent upon factors such as education, qualifications, experience, skillset, and physical work location.
