Description:
We are looking for a Data Analyst with 12+ years of overall professional experience, who excels at advanced complex SQL, end-to-end reporting solutions, and Tableau report development. This role involves working directly with stakeholders to gather requirements, designing efficient data structures, and independently building advanced Tableau dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise paired with the ability to communicate effectively with business stakeholders, ensuring insights align with strategic goals.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of overall professional experience, including 5+ years in data analysis, modeling, and Tableau report development.
- Proven expertise in creating and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- Hands-on experience developing advanced Tableau dashboards with strong visual storytelling capabilities.
- Experience working with Snowflake EDW or similar data warehouses.
- Strong understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling.
- Demonstrated ability to independently work with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored reporting solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile development environments and working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
Responsibilities:
- Apply advanced SQL skills to develop, optimize, and manage complex queries for data analysis.
- Design and implement end-to-end reporting solutions, including data extraction, transformation, and presentation.
- Independently develop interactive and visually compelling Tableau dashboards that meet business requirements.
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather and document reporting needs, ensuring clarity and alignment with business objectives.
- Extract, prepare, and transform data from Snowflake EDW to support Tableau reporting and analytics, and create the metrics needed to support data analysis and reporting.
- Collaborate closely with Tableau developers and support them with metrics for business reporting in a fast-paced Agile environment.
- Collaborate with data engineers to optimize data pipelines and structures for reporting purposes.
- Continuously monitor and enhance Tableau dashboards and underlying data models for accuracy and performance.
- Document reporting workflows, data models, and dashboard designs comprehensively.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in reporting workflows.
- Stay updated with the latest Tableau features and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
