Summary: The Data Analyst supports and contributes by providing data-driven insights related to business performance used to advise and develop strategies for operational improvements and future business initiatives. Uses statistical methods, modeling, analytical methodologies, and data analysis to develop and deploy tools including dashboards, infographics, reports, and models to inform and support decision-making. The Data analyst Works on projects of limited complexity in a support role. Essential Functions: Mines, processes, and analyzes internal and external data using internal systems, KPIs, business results, industry sources, competitor intelligence, and customer information. Processes raw data into understandable reporting using Excel & other tools. Performs rate analysis on new and existing contracts. Works with management to identify areas for improvement and potential solutions. Works closely with IT department for development of efficiencies through technology. Requirements Position Type: This is a full-time position; 40-hour minimum, with the expectation to maintain a regular work schedule located in Wixom, MI. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. Upon successful completion of training a hybrid schedule may be available. Required Education and Experience: 4+ years as a Data Analyst or similar role within finance, accounting, etc. Advanced-expert proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; specifically Excel. Advanced Excel skills to include the ability to produce graphs and tables, use spreadsheets efficiently, and perform calculations and automation to process large volumes of data. Ability to lead discussions, make presentations and deliver results Ability to work well under pressure in a challenging, changing, fast-paced environment Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, data science or equivalent. Previous experience in DME, Healthcare or Insurance industry Working knowledge of the medical industry. Knowledge of fee schedules and cost of goods.
