The Role You Play As a Data Analyst at Pawnee, you will be responsible for managing database and reporting support for our growing organization. In this role, you will work with a variety of data sources, including our Human Resources Information System and Electronic Medical Record, to support daily operations, state reporting requirements, and grant requests, among other organizational needs. Experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Reporting Services, and SQL Report Builder is not required, but is highly preferred. If you’re the right fit for the role, we are willing to provide training and ongoing support to help you succeed! The Day-to-Day Respond to requests for information from staff, including custom reporting requests as needed. Build and/or maintain regular reporting for a variety of departments (HR, Finance, Medical, ect.) as well as authorized 3rd parties. Manage Pawnee’s EMR database. Create and implement basic staff training on Pawnee’s reporting systems as requested by your supervisor. Other Duties as Assigned Maintain and advance your knowledge of the skills related to your position and field of work. Perform basic troubleshooting of electronic reporting systems, reporting anything outside your scope to your supervisor. Who You Are The ideal candidate should be well-prepared to answer the reporting needs of our diverse and widespread organization. They should have good communication skills to determine what is needed and be able to work independently to achieve their results. Requirements Required 2 years experience supporting PC and/or network users OR Database management Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office applications Specifically, ability to create, organize, and manage databases in Excel or Access Experience working with a variety of Microsoft SQL database tools Strong oral and written communication skills using the English language Preferred Post secondary education or certification in Information Technology or closely related field SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Reporting Services, and SQL Report Builder
