Under the direction of senior staff the selected candidate will assist in organizing existing and new data collection and analysis programs; conducting geospatial analysis; analysis of field data and maintenance of our pedestrian ramp inventory; assessing survey data for the efficient assignment of future work and preparing documents for future contracts; contributing to ongoing data analysis efforts for tracking, prioritizing, and evaluating unit initiatives; and executing the Pedestrian Ramp Program’s goals by developing, evaluating, prioritizing and monitoring citywide accessibility in coordination with agency stakeholders.
The data analyst will also conduct research and analysis to inform current and future policy, planning and programs; manage research projects with internal and external stakeholders; and use data to identify patterns, perform analyses, and analyze funding and investment needs. They will use databases, GIS and other tools to identify and help resolve potential conflicts.
