JOB DESCRIPTION

As Data e Analyst you will join Philips’ GBS Financial Planning & Analytics team responsible for analyses for Procurement. On daily basis you will contribute to design, architecture and development of business intelligence projects according to business needs. You will collaborate with business analysts, subject-matter experts, and other team members to deliver best in class and timely analytics. You will be using Excel + VBA on daily basis. You’ll be responsible for the automation of a large portfolio of processes to improve quality and efficiency with the possibility to introduce innovations using latest practices.

EXPERIENCED IN DESIGNING AND DEVELOPING DATA LAYERS AND VISUALIZATIONS (POWER POINT PRESENTATIONS ESPECIALLY),

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken,
  • Excellent analytical skill and experience in delivering complex data analysis, including presenting them to Business Partner,
  • Excellent communication skills and service-oriented attitude,
  • Knowledge of Qlik View/Qlik Sense or PowerBI development and design as an asset,
  • Experienced in designing and developing data layers and visualizations,
  • Familiar with the topics related to information systems, their design, development and delivery,
  • Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks
Responsibilities
  • Support development, maintenance and management of advanced reporting, dashboards and other solutions
  • Perform requirements collection, analysis, definition, and documentation activities
  • Assist in defining and prioritizing content to be included for reporting and analytics
  • Help management and resolve business challenges and opportunities by retrieving, analyzing and presenting data in an informative way
  • Participate in process improvement, system integration and new functionality projects across the Procurement organization, especially advanced analytics (prescriptive).
  • Partner with others within the team, the business/customers and facilitate the full life cycle of solution development. Provide technical assistance as necessary to end users as well as team.
  • Advance ability to design and troubleshoot complex queries, stored procedures, functions, views, indexes, constraints, unions, joins, and similar development tasks
  • Utilize Excel VBA to generate usable information in the form of analytics, dashboards, scorecards, and other data visualization
