Piper Companies is seeking a Data Analyst to join a leader in the consumer goods manufacturing industry for a full-time, hybrid 6 month contract position based out of Greensboro, NC. The Data Analyst will lead and support data migration activities for an ERP transformation, working closely with business and functional teams to define strategies, map data, and ensure high-quality, accurate integration using tools like Syniti, SAP DS, or Informatica.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE DATA ANALYST INCLUDE:

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in data cleansing and migration for ERP implementations; S/4HANA experience preferred but not required.
• Proficient in data tools such as Syniti, SAP Data Services (DS), or Informatica for profiling, cleansing, and enrichment.
• Strong understanding of SAP data migration processes, dependencies, and cross-functional requirements.
• Skilled in translating complex data requirements into actionable plans across business and IT teams.
• Proven track record of supporting large-scale ERP projects with a focus on continuous data quality improvement and governance.

• Collaborate with functional teams and business stakeholders to understand “To Be” requirements and source data structures.
• Define and execute data migration strategies for ERP transformation, including mapping and transformation logic.
• Lead data mapping workshops, providing expertise on source-to-target mappings and transformation rules.
• Document and validate data migration requirements using tools like DOS and DDAM, ensuring alignment with business needs.
• Coordinate defect resolution and support business validations to ensure data quality and integrity throughout migration.
