DATA ANALYST POWER BI/VISUALIZATION:

On behalf of our healthcare client, Procom is searching for a Data Analyst Power BI/Visualization for a 6 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.

DATA ANALYST POWER BI/VISUALIZATION - JOB DESCRIPTION:

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping client’s data landscape. Collaborate closely with leadership and technology teams to collect, analyze, and interpret complex datasets, providing valuable insights that drive strategic decisions for clients. This role is ideal for an analytical thinker with a strong statistical background who thrives in a dynamic environment and is passionate about making a tangible impact on healthcare.

DATA ANALYST POWER BI/VISUALIZATION - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
• Demonstrated experience in data collection, cleaning, analysis, and visualization.
• Proficiency in statistical modeling, hypothesis testing, and regression analysis.
• Experience with statistical software packages such as Python (with libraries like Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), R, or SPSS.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages like SQL.
• Experience with business intelligence and data visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau.
• Strong understanding of data privacy and security principles.

DATA ANALYST POWER BI/VISUALIZATION – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Undergraduate degree and/or certificate in a related field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics, or Computer Science.
• Experience in the healthcare or insurance industries.
• Background in supporting data pipelines for claims management systems.
• Experience with predictive modeling, forecasting, or machine learning.

• Analyze complex healthcare and insurance datasets to identify key trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions for our clients.
• Develop and present clear, compelling reports and dashboards that translate data into actionable recommendations.
• Collect, clean, and interpret data from various sources to support claims management, program design, and care model innovation.
• Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate closely with the leadership team, including the Director of Technology, to understand client needs and translate them into robust analytical solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert on data interpretation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Adhere to stringent data privacy and security policies, ensuring compliance with standards such as SOC 2 and ISO certifications while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of all data.
• Stay current with emerging data analysis techniques and healthcare industry trends.
