Responsibilities

We are seeking a Data Analyst to join our Program Analytics and Reporting Team where you will play a vital role in supporting the monitoring, review and delivery of the Growing Careers Project and other programs that have a long-lasting impact on children and families.

This is a hands-on role, open to early career or experienced data analysts that can demonstrate required skills and experience. You’ll become part of a small, collaborative and highly productive team where your analysis and expertise will make a difference every day. Reporting to the Program Analytics & Reporting Manager and working alongside dedicated, energised, and passionate team members, you will:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and translate their data and reporting needs into solutions
  • Create dashboards and reports that turn data into useful and actionable insights that inform decision making
  • Collect, cleanse, interpret and analyse data to find answers to specific business questions
  • Prepare quarterly and semester reporting for the Growing Careers Project
  • Consolidate key data for inclusion in The Smith Family’s Annual Impact Report or program outcome reports
  • Support data related queries and guiding effective data practices and data driven decision making
  • Develop resources that improve business processes around using and recording data
