ABOUT THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst with a focus on process optimization, business intelligence & KPIs, and stakeholder communication who is motivated, creative, and personable to join our dynamic data team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, proficiency in current data reporting technologies, and the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights that drive strategies and initiatives across the organization, while also being able to influence product roadmaps and executive decisions.
The Data Analyst will collaborate closely with our data engineers and the broader data team to empower colleagues across the organization, including those in marketing, product, finance, and operations. REQUIREMENTS

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or business intelligence, with a strong emphasis on business analytics.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (we use Snowflake). If you have used dbt in the past, even better!
  • Strong knowledge of data visualization tools (we use Tableau, but if your experience is in Power BI or Looker, that’s good too).
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent data analysis abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information to non-technical stakeholders, and work towards mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in a remote-first, fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Collaboration: Consultative problem-solving approach to working with teammates and outside vendors
  • Business Acumen: Ability to think strategically about how to use data to improve key business metrics.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Can work a full-time W2 position on core U.S. business hours in your time zone
  • Ability to fulfill the job requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Must be located in the United States and be legally eligible to work for us
  • Travel is required for an all-company meeting, and may be required once or twice per year for team or project meetings
  • Occasional after-hours/on-call for emergency support and special events (generally less than four times per year)
Responsibilities
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies; present findings to stakeholders clearly and effectively.
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize reporting dashboards and visualizations in Tableau.
  • Measure and report on key marketing, sales, product, and operational metrics, such as ROI, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, customer lifetime value, and engagement levels.
  • Design and implement automated reporting processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in marketing, sales, and product analytics.
  • Ensure data integrity and quality by performing regular audits and troubleshooting data discrepancies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously enhance analytical capabilities in the marketing domain.
