ABOUT THE ROLE

Ruby Labs is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Data Analyst who lives and breathes data-driven product improvement. We’re looking for someone who will take complete ownership of our product metrics, diving deep into every measurable aspect of user behavior to uncover insights that drive growth. This isn’t just about building reports—it’s about becoming the product’s data guardian, anticipating analytical needs before they arise, and championing a metrics-first approach across the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the complete metrics ecosystem for our products, ensuring no valuable data point goes unmonitored or unanalyzed.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement by constantly exploring user journeys, conversion paths, and engagement patterns.
  • Build, maintain, and continuously enhance comprehensive dashboards that tell the complete story of our product performance.
  • Conduct meticulous analysis of user behavior to uncover the critical “aha moments” that drive retention and conversion.
  • Partner closely with Product Owners as their analytical right hand, providing data-backed recommendations for every product decision.
  • Design and implement robust data models in SQL that transform raw data into actionable intelligence.
  • Monitor all product KPIs with vigilance, establishing early warning systems for metric fluctuations.
  • Champion a data-curious culture by sharing insights and teaching others how to leverage data effectively.
