    Location: Bootle, Sefton / Agile
Business Intelligence & Performance Team, Strategic Support Service, Sefton Council, Bootle, Merseyside
Sefton Council is seeking to recruit a Data Analyst to join its central Business Intelligence & Performance Team, supporting data analysis and reporting for the homelessness, asylum seeker, refugee and welfare rights service.
Technical experience and practical ability to analyse and report data using MS Excel, T-SQL, and Microsoft Power BI, are pre-requisite essentials. You will also need to demonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills, to work closely with others in the Council’s homelessness, asylum seeker, refugee and welfare rights service areas to help to drive data analysis and performance management.
We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about data and analytics and enjoys problem solving. A degree or equivalent in an analytical discipline such as Mathematics, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience would be advantageous.

This is a great opportunity to develop your expertise, working on high profile issues as part of a dynamic and supportive professional team.
