QUALIFICATIONS:

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 8-11 years of experience in data analysis, with a focus on algorithm design and implementation Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL
• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
• In-depth knowledge of statistical analysis and machine learning techniques
• Proven track record of working with large, complex datasets
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences
• Experience in documenting and implementing data analysis workflows

Desired:

• Master’s degree in a relevant field
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark)
• Familiarity with government or defense sector data analysis

• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Data Analytics, Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate)

• Examine data from various sources to provide insights into organization, mission/business processes, and information systems
• Design, document, and implement custom algorithms for data modeling, mining, and research purposes
• Develop and optimize workflow processes to enhance data analysis efficiency and effectiveness
• Work with large data sets to extract valuable insights and support decision-making processes
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data analysis processes and findings
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and deliver actionable insights
• Develop and implement data quality assurance processes
• Present complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data analysis and machine learning
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall data strategy of the organization
