JOB DESCRIPTION

South Cambridgeshire District Council is seeking a meticulous and skilled Data Analyst to join the Data team at the Greater Cambridge shared Waste Service (GCSWS) at our Waterbeach Depot in a 2-year fixed term role.
As a qualified and experienced Data Analyst, you will be part of a team that provides a central point of contact for all aspects of data and information management and directly supports Policy, Operational and Commercial aspect of the service.

You will manage, access, and analyse data from our current waste management system and assist in procurement and introduction of its replacement across the GCSWS. Working closely with the Data Team principal Data Analyst, you will assist in the authoring and maintenance of our data policy, its management and statistical performance output. Drawing on your experience of project management, you will assist in the introduction of a fourth collection service for food waste.
Co-line management of one Data Projects support officer - delegating tasks, monitoring workload and providing first line, hands-on assistance to that role.
