Job Description Responsibilities: Building out and maintaining risk and strategic dashboards including but not limited to: Loss ratios Claims pattern recognition Client utilisation and movement FWA Ensuring data flow through the Actuarial and Analytics team including but not limited to: Structuring specialised data requests Maintaining current data scripts Validating data sources to ensure correct data is being utilised Building ad hoc reports on request of business including but not limited to: Sales reports Specialised client reports New project research Clinical reports (including clinical risk) Liaising with IT to ensure data structures are suitable for future risk and strategic purposes Manage projects pertaining to reporting as well as any IT integration Qualifications Requirements: A degree in IT, data, computer science or any data related qualifications at a reputable institution. Previous experience in (Minimum 2 years): Building insurance reports Dashboarding Datawarehouse structuring Managing multiple parties Additional Information Personal Attributes Excellent problem-solving skills backed by solid technical knowledge. Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. A versatile and service-oriented mind-set. Good communication skills. Understands the importance of documentation. Open to learn, but also willing to teach.
Responsibilities
The Data Analyst will build and maintain risk and strategic dashboards, ensuring data flow through the Actuarial and Analytics team. Responsibilities also include managing reporting projects and liaising with IT for data structure suitability.
