Are you a student eager to gain hands-on experience in product creation data analysis? If so, we invite you to join F-Secure as a Data Analyst Summer Trainee for the summer of 2025! This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in a agile environment, contributing to real-world projects that provide insights into the characteristics of our world-class product development in technology teams.
What you’ll be doing
As a summer trainee, you’ll work at our CTO office, which is supporting product management and technology teams in agile and lean product creation. Our aim is to collect and connect data across F-Secure to provide valuable insights for making our product creation even leaner. Your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting in analyzing and interpreting data to generate actionable insights.
Supporting the design and development of data enrichment and processing pipelines.
Gaining hands-on experience with product creation process data, with Jira, PowerBI, etc. tooling.
Collaborating with CTO office, product managers, teams and project managers to find out needs.
Contributing to find out better tooling and visualization to support lean product development
This is a 3–4 month program starting in May or June 2025, offering a unique opportunity to develop practical skills in data analysis while working on meaningful projects.

TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Basic understanding of product creation data collection in tools: Jira (also plugins), PowerBI, etc.
Familiarity with programming and analytical tools such as JQL, Excel functions, etc..
Interest in data processing and visualization.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

Ongoing studies in computer science, data science, or related fields.
Basic knowledge about lean and agile methodology
Previous experience through coursework or projects in agile methodology, data analysis is a plus

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to team projects.
Willingness to visit our Helsinki office regularly for collaboration (1-2 days per week).
