Job Description: This role supports Pharmacy Services and related reporting needs. This position involves initiating the development and deployment of data analytics at Intermountain Health. As a Data Analyst-Technical-Senior, you will act in a more senior capacity, contributing to strategic initiatives, clinical standards, and operational goals through data insights. Reporting to senior leaders in Digital Technology Services (DTS), you will collaborate with business and clinical leaders across Intermountain Health. The team ensures data applications are maintained, monitored, promoted, and used effectively. Although the majority of this role is fully remote, incumbent will be required to attend an annual analytics summit once a year in SLC, UT. This would be the only required in person meeting. Essential Functions Works closely with pharmacy leaders to develop, implement, maintain, and update internal and external reporting needs. Provides strategic analytics that improves medication safety, quality, and stewardship. Provides advanced support for management level leadership in a business or clinical area. Develops a deep understanding of customer data and business/clinical operations they support. Fulfills complex customer requests through data exploration, report development, and visual storytelling. Independently provides project updates and communicates analytic findings to their customers. Leads analytic work demonstrations and hands-on training for customers to promote understanding and independent consumption of analytic work. Enhances their technical skillset through individual learning and participation in Intermountain analytic community educational offerings, guided by their leader. Proficiency in developing advanced visualizations and dashboards. High proficiency in office applications for detailed reports and presentations. Strong communication skills with experience presenting data insights to senior leaders. Deep knowledge of healthcare data through specialized projects. Experience fostering team collaboration and supporting individual development. Demonstrated ability to stay updated on industry trends and advancements. Proven experience in providing mentorship and guidance to junior analysts. Advanced knowledge of Product Management, Project Management, or Program Management philosophies and methodologies, and capable of applying them to data analytic projects to ensure alignment with business goals and efficient execution Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in analytics related fields such as statistics, mathematics, information systems, computer science, finance, business management, or economics and four years of relevant experience performing data analysis. Bachelor’s degree in another area of study with six years of relevant work experience in a role performing data analysis. Experience without a related degree will be considered if skill set and experience are robust. Epic experience and certification strongly preferred. Remain sitting or standing for long periods of time to perform work on a computer, telephone, or other equipment.
