Requirements:

  • Bachelor s degree in Data Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master s degree preferred.
  • 3-5+ years of data analysis or stewardship experience, preferably in aerospace, defense, or government contracting preferred.
  • Strong experience with data migration, especially involving SolidWorks PDM and/or PTC Windchill preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL, with hands-on experience in Power BI, Tableau, and Excel for data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiarity with handling data under ITAR, EAR, and CUI requirements.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work cross-functionally across technical and regulatory teams.
  • U.S. Persons status may be required due to export control regulations

Responsibilities
  • Analyze and cleanse large datasets from SolidWorks PDM, ensuring completeness, consistency, and compliance.
  • Build automated reports and dashboards using SQL, Excel, Power BI, or Tableau to monitor data quality and flag regulatory risks.
  • Support classification verification (e.g., ITAR vs. EAR) in alignment with internal export control policies.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Compliance, and CAD Admin teams to validate and correct sensitive technical data.
  • Prepare validated data for migration to PTC Windchill, and support testing and dry runs to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of remediation work and ensure traceability of changes for audits and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices for managing export-controlled data during system migrations.
