We’re looking for a driven and curious Data Analyst to join our Purchasing Development & Digitalization team at NCC! In this role, you’ll transform data into actionable insights that directly impact project success, supplier performance, and strategic direction.
Purchasing is a top priority at NCC, playing a vital role in winning and delivering profitable projects. As part of our Nordic function, you’ll support and challenge the organization with data-informed perspectives, enabling smart decisions and continuous development.

EDUCATION

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or Business Administration with a strong analytical component.
  • Additional training or certification in Power BI, data visualization, or data literacy is a strong plus.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven experience in Power BI development, including both front-end visualizations and data modeling (semantic models)
  • Track record of turning data into actionable insights that support business decisions
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting others in data literacy and analytics, through training, guidance, or collaboration
  • Experience working with AI-supported tools or low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or similar) to automate workflows or scale analytics solutions
  • Familiarity with procurement KPIs and value delivery through data is a plus
  • Background in the construction industry and/or procurement is a plus
  • Language skills: You are fluent in one of the Nordic languages and in English.

Responsibilities

In this role, you contribute directly to our mission of paving the way for business-leading purchasing capabilities. Through your ability to turn data into actionable insights, you empower our purchasing network to make smarter, faster, and more strategic decisions. Your expertise in Power BI helps define and drive future best practices, while your collaborative mindset supports a culture of continuous improvement, transparency, and innovation across the organization.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

  • Build reporting solutions: Create compelling visualizations and reports that communicate complex data in a clear and engaging manner with actionable insights in mind
  • Develop scalable BI structures: Contribute to building and refining processes and structures—particularly around Power BI and Fabric—to support scalable, efficient, and robust self-service BI across the organization
  • Empower Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster a data-informed culture, providing training and support in Power BI to enhance their analytical skills
  • Advanced Data Analysis: Utilize advanced analytics techniques and data modelling to extract meaningful insights from our data and contribute to data-informed decision-making.
