Data Analyst V (Strategy & Site Selection) itD is seeking a Data Analyst V to drive strategic data modeling and operational analysis supporting large-scale data center site selection and development initiatives. This role plays a critical part in translating long-term infrastructure demand into actionable insights, enabling informed investment and capacity planning decisions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in database management, advanced data modeling, and cross-functional program coordination, along with a proven track record of delivering executive-ready analysis that influences strategic outcomes. Location: Remote, US (10% travel required) Duration: 6+ Months We provide comprehensive medical benefits, a 401k plan, paid holidays, and more. Responsibilities Lead the development and maintenance of complex data models and databases supporting long-range (5–10 year) site selection and infrastructure planning Analyze large datasets to generate predictive insights and business justifications for data center investments Coordinate cross-functional data inputs across communications, construction, design, and energy teams to ensure alignment and accuracy Review and enhance existing database management systems, directing improvements to optimize performance and scalability Plan, test, and implement database updates while ensuring data integrity and system reliability Establish and enforce data governance standards, including security measures to safeguard sensitive information Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders, delivering clear, structured reporting that informs strategic decisions Internal Responsibilities Attend regular internal practice community meetings Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership Complete client case studies and learning materials (blogs, media material) Build out materials contributing to the Digital Transformation practice Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual) Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities Required Qualifications and Skills 10+ years of overall experience in data analysis, database management, or related analytical roles Strong knowledge of database management systems and database development lifecycle Demonstrated experience building and maintaining complex data models and working with large datasets Proven project management experience with the ability to coordinate multi-phase initiatives Executive-level verbal and written communication skills, including experience presenting findings to senior stakeholders Experience planning, coordinating, and implementing database security measures Associate’s degree in computer programming or equivalent training Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience in energy markets or the technology sector Direct experience supporting site selection or infrastructure development initiatives Experience developing standards and governance frameworks for data management Education Associate’s degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
