Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Reporting directly to Manager, Data and Insights, this role will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing plans to monitor compliance of regulated entities using data and analytics.
  • Designing dashboards and reporting tools to track compliance trends.
  • Analysing large datasets to generate insights that inform annual and election regulatory priorities.
  • Supporting administration of the VEC’s online disclosure system and maintaining strong data governance practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Demonstrated experience in data analysis and reporting, with proficiency in Power BI and SQL.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate complex data and identify patterns and insights.
  • Ability to build effective working relationships and communicate findings clearly and persuasively.
  • Qualifications or equivalent professional experience in data analytics or a related field.
  • Commitment to the VEC’s core values.
