Description:
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst with expertise in SQL to contribute to our data analytics initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial data management, investment reporting, excellent analytical abilities, and be willing to work extended hours when necessary.
SKILLS
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Economics, or related field.
At least 3-6 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role, preferably in the financial industry.
Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex queries and optimize database performance.
Solid understanding of financial instruments, investment operations, investment reporting and portfolio management concepts.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Flexibility to work late hours when necessary to meet project deadlines or address urgent issues.
Nice to have
Hands-on experience with SimCorp either as an end-user or familiarity with using SimCorp data
Asset Management / Financial reporting / investment or risk monitoring
Responsibilities:
Write complex SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data from various sources, including SimCorp database.
Perform comprehensive data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities within financial datasets.
Work closely with finance stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into actionable financial insights.
Develop and maintain financial data models, dashboards, and reports to support business decision-making processes.
Conduct thorough data validation to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data processes and drive efficiency in financial data management.
Provide expertise in SimCorp data structures, workflows, and processes, ensuring alignment with financial reporting and analysis needs.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and investigate data-related issues as needed.
