We are currently seeking a Data Analyst to join our editorial team, working at the intersection of data, markets, and journalism. This role focuses on analysing proprietary datasets covering hedge funds, private markets, and institutional investor behaviour — helping to produce and embed high-quality, data-led insights into our editorial output that showcase the value of With Intelligence’s data and expertise across the alternatives asset management industry. Responsibilities Analyse proprietary datasets on hedge funds, private markets, and investor allocations to uncover trends and actionable insights Use SQL (Snowflake) to extract and work with structured financial data Collaborate with journalists and subject matter experts to develop data-driven story ideas and embed data into editorial content Contribute to the development of data visualisations in editorial output Build practical models to address data gaps and support market analysis and projections Incorporate public data sources (e.g. SEC filings) to enhance analysis where required Proven experience in a data, research, or financial analytics role Strong SQL skills (Snowflake preferred) Experience working with structured financial or investment datasets Strong analytical thinking and comfort working with incomplete data Ability to communicate data insights clearly It would be an advantage to have any of the following (but not essential): Experience working with editorial, research, or publishing teams Understanding of hedge fund or private markets strategies and performance metrics Familiarity with SEC filings (ADV, 13F, etc.) Annual leave and unlimited Recharge Days Enhanced parental leave Private Healthcare Wellness Days Employee assistance program Travel loan scheme Charity days Hybrid Working For the full range of S&P benefits : https://spgbenefits.com/ourbenefits?country=United%20Kingdom%20(U.K.) Our Company: With Intelligence is now a part of S&P Global, creating one of the most comprehensive data offerings for alternatives and private markets participants.
