SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERTISE

• GCSE (or equivalent) at grade C or above in English and Maths
• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computing or Software Development or similar
• Full UK-driving licence
• Proficiency in data analysis tools (SQL, Excel)
• Proven experience in data analysis, working with complex data from a variety of source
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather data and implement reports and visualisations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a functional and cross-Excellent communication and presentation skills.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Experience with data visualization tools, ideally Power BI or similar
• Experience working in a data analyst role
• Experience working in a proactive analytics function
• Experience of working in the Utilities sector

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Data Analyst at Zenergi, you will work as part of the Data Team to help support the wider business to meet their reporting and data requirements. Working with the latest innovative technologies, you will work to design, build and maintain data solutions, authoring BI reports, dashboards within areas of the business to ensure our colleagues and customers have all the information they need, in a form that is useful and understandable. Take an active role in the emerging Power BI community of practice, helping non-IT users make the most of their data.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking full ownership of assigned projects and BAU tasks.
• Design and Development of Customer facing Dashboards.
• Encourage and mentor a culture of self-serve reporting and personal development.
• Development of Team Dashboards & Reports in PowerBI.
• Design and build bespoke reports and tools in Excel (for example SQL based & Power Query).
• Working with in house Developers to deliver data aspects of our systems.
• Working with business and operations users to assist self-serve reporting.
• Monitoring Data Integrity within our key Systems, providing feedback & prevention solutions.
• Recording and updating of work on Project Management System (Azure DevOps).
