Governance and system support for purchasing.
Group Purchasing is Jotun’s corporate function responsible for purchasing strategies, guidelines and commercial execution with suppliers on behalf of Jotun’s worldwide network and companies. The positions will be part of the governance and system support team in Group Purchasing.
Jotun’s Group Purchasing team consists of 47 dedicated people, whereof 30 are located in Sandefjord, Norway.

We are a team that specializes in governance and system support for Jotun’s internal stakeholders. We are looking for additional resources to our team who can contribute to ensure high-quality of data and reports that meet the needs and expectations of our customers.
As a data analyst, you will be involved in developing, testing, and deploying continuous improvements in existing platforms, as well as maintenance of master data and reports.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER QUALIFICATIONS:

You must have minimum Bachelor degree, but Master or PhD would be an advantage.
Preferably 3-5 years relevant experience.
Knowledge in and experience from use of ERP systems (IFS/SAP)
Advanced skills in Microsoft applications, including Power BI knowledge.
Self-drive for improvement work, finding best practices and standards.
Able to work independently based on agreed directions.
Very good English skills, oral and written.
It is crucial that you have high analytical skills and eye for details.
Endurance of tasks of repetitive nature is important.
Some traveling can be expected.

Responsibilities

Develop and utilise tools, programs, methods, and processes within an established framework by using professional knowledge and internal- and external best practices to streamline and optimize working methods.
Governance and stewardship of master data repositories for raw materials, packaging and other parts and respective manufacturers and suppliers, to ensure centralized master data governance, documentation and control.
Master Jotun’s governance application (RMGT) and be an active resource and participant in the governance and system support team.
Implement and maintain established methods, solutions, concepts, and tools to ensure that they stay relevant and fit for purpose by close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
Ensure that Group Purchasing policies and procedures, governance principles and best practices is adhered to in all units in Jotun.
