Position Summary: This role is focused on using quantitative analysis to performing analytics for sales and marketing asks to include comparative analytics, market research and more. At times this individual may be asked to present to internal stakeholders or clients. Essential responsibilities include: Generating analyses and reports to be used by producers during the bidding process related to GB’s performance compared to that of competitors Completing market research and other related asks to support the marketing team’s needs Evaluating financial impact of opportunities identified and recommending appropriate next actions Packaging insights from analyses into highly polished presentations for sales team and/or internal stakeholders Collaborating across functional areas as appropriate Developing functional knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures within GB’s operations Typically works under close supervision and guidance. Client involvement to expand as employee matures in role Preferred Requirements Ability to think critically and break down complex business problems Clear and effective communication Strong academic or professional credentials Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint Bonus if you possess enterprise analytics skills (e.g., R, Python, SQL, SAS, Power BI, Tableau); however these skills are not required and can be taught on the job Bonus if you have insurance/risk management expereince About You Work Traits: Critical Thinking Complex Problem Solving Deductive Reasoning Mathematical Reasoning Excellent Judgment & Decision Making skills Excellent Communication Skills Required: University Degree and 0 -1 years prior relevant experience, or equivalent.
