Description

Our client is an asset manager with an insurance twist. They manage c$8 billion of catastrophe, specialty, and climate related insurance-linked securities (ILS) and offer alternative funding to the reinsurance industry. They are looking for an Associate to join their London team to work across different groups within the Syndicate business and learn all aspects of the platform.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or related discipline.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in Insurance or Financial Services.
  • Experience in (re)insurance or Lloyd’s is a plus.
  • Proven experience in coding with proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
  • Strong analytical skills with hands-on experience in data analytics, including data visualisation and statistical analysis.
  • Ability to work and occasionally travel across diverse workforces and multiple jurisdictions.
  • Possess strong analytical skills and ability to interpret and tell stories through data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Adaptability and eagerness to learn.
  • Passion for continuous learning and growth.
