Oversee data storage, transformation, and retrieval processes to support analytics and reporting requirements. Data Analytics & Reporting: Deliver actionable insights through analytics and reporting tools, enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. Implement robust data visualisation frameworks to enhance data accessibility and usability. Data Governance: Enforce data governance frameworks, ensuring data quality, security, compliance, and regulatory alignment. Promote a culture of accountability and best practices around data usage and stewardship. Solutions & Data Architecture: Design, build and maintain scalable data architectures, enabling the seamless integration of new technologies and methodologies. Collaborate with the clients data, technology and business teams to ensure alignment between solutions and business needs. Qualifications Proven experience in data engineering, and data analytics within large-scale organisations, preferably in financial services. Strong technical expertise in modern data platforms, including cloud-based solutions, data lakes, and data warehouses. Hands-on experience with tools and technologies such as SQL, Python, Dataiku & Tableau. Expertise in data governance, regulatory compliance, and security standards in the financial sector. Deep understanding of solutions architecture and its application to enterprise-level data systems. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving results. A collaborative mindset with a track record of working across diverse teams to deliver impactful solutions.
