SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

  • 3+ years of strong experience with business intelligence tools, ideally Looker (both LookML and data visualizations)
  • 3+ years of data transformation using dbt
  • 3+ years of data modelling experience using Kimball or similar to stitch together user journeys and identify points of friction.
  • 3+ years of experience in product analytics, with hands-on expertise using tools such as Heap, Snowplow, Segment, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, or equivalent platforms to translate data into actionable insights. We use Snowplow and He

  • Experience supporting different parts of the business, from marketing, product, sales, customer success and finance, providing tools and insights to guide their day to day operations
  • Familiarity working with web event tracking data as data source
  • Experience in A/B testing and tying the user web behaviour to product initiatives is a must
  • We expect candidates to embrace AI-powered tools like Cursor and Co-pilot to aggressively accelerate data infrastructure development and maximize discovery of insights.

Responsibilities
  • Proactively solve business problems, analyze performance across functions, challenge and optimize established playbooks, and an impact-forward approach to data science
  • Build and refine segmentation, attribution, and forecasting models to identify key value drivers and improve decision-making.
  • Design and implement scalable, reusable data models that enable efficient, reliable, and maintainable data infrastructure to support analytics and business decision-making.
  • Define project scope, phase deliverables, and coordinate across teams to ensure clear alignment and timely execution.
  • Analyze diverse datasets—from customer behavior and product usage to geographic and operational trends—to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency.
  • Customer & Business Journey: Map value creation across the customer and business lifecycle, ensuring resources are focused on high-impact activities.
  • Translate raw data into compelling insights, using visualizations (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.) to influence stakeholders and support experimentation, continuous improvement, and strategic choices.
  • Evaluate new markets, channels, and processes, measuring their effectiveness and interaction with existing operations.
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, CX, Finance, and other teams to capture richer customer data and align on data-driven priorities.
