REQUIRED SKILLS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Solid experience with Data analytics engineering and delivery.
• Strong technical Expertise in Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, and Data visualization, specifically using various tools such as Power BI, Databricks, Alteryx, Tableau, SAP BI, etc.
• Proficiency in the following programming languages, including Python, PySpark, and SQL
• Deep understanding of Lakehouse architecture, governance, and security controls.
• Advanced knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, with experience in managing, designing, and optimizing databases for analytics.
• Strong analytical skills in handling unstructured datasets and extracting meaningful insights from complex data structures.

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

As the Data Analytics Lead within the Data and Analytics team, your pivotal role centers on steering and delivering BI and analytics solutions that drive substantial value for Al Futtaim Business, with a concentrated emphasis on enhancing Analytics maturity across all lines of business , this position entails collaborating with senior Business and IT stakeholders to ensure that Data and AI initiatives align with Al Futtaim’s strategic roadmap.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Deep understanding of various Analytics processes to aid Businesses in Transforming their processes into analytical requirements.
• Drive large-scale transformation projects with the project/program manager and represent the data team at senior management review meetings.
• Define, plan, develop, and implement optimal Business intelligence and Big data/Lakehouse applications across multiple complex projects and solutions that fit the existing architecture strategy.
• As a senior participant in an agile team, role is required to guide internal and external teams and ensure business deliveries are completed on time per Business expectations.

WHAT EQUIPS YOU FOR THE ROLE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field of study.
• SAP and Azure Certifications will be highly regarded and considered a significant advantage.
• At least 15+ years of experience in Data Analytics and Business intelligence, with a minimum of 12+ years in roles directly relevant to analytics and cloud solutions.
• A minimum of 5+ years of implementation experience overseeing the journey from conceptualization to delivering data analytics capabilities on the Azure platform.Proven experience delivering analytics across multiple Lines of business such as Retail, Automotive, Healthcare, Corporate, and Finance is required, demonstrating a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
