The Digital & Analytics Manager is a key contributor within the CSA team, responsible for implementing and maintaining robust digital analytics solutions for our clients. This role focuses on the technical aspects of digital analytics, ensuring accurate data collection, processing, and reporting. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to implement tracking, troubleshoot issues, and develop insightful dashboards. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our client’s data.
You will be highly proficient in data layer architecture, tag management (including advanced data layer implementations), and server-side tracking (primarily sGTM). You’ll use your skills to implement customized tracking solutions, set up custom metrics and dimensions, and implement user-ID tracking strategies. Experience in integrating data sets using BigQuery and creating custom dashboards to visualize performance will be important. You’ll become proficient in using the main analytics platforms, including Google Analytics 4, Adobe Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Adobe Launch.
This position requires a strong understanding of site analytics, tag management best practices, and experience working with both the Google and Adobe analytics stacks. Knowledge of media platform analytics (GMP, Meta, TikTok, Snap, etc.), including tracking and configuration, as well as an understanding of data privacy and compliance, is highly desirable. Familiarity with media platforms settings, configuration options and reporting outputs will be important.
You will collaborate with a team of analytics specialists and a data engineer, contributing your technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of digital analytics projects. You will also have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, such as the use of AI to increase efficiency. You will assist in maintaining agency technical implementation best practices and standards, particularly across the analytics tech stack.
Client Relationship Management and Development
A key aspect of this role involves serving as the primary day-to-day point of contact for clients on matters related to digital analytics implementation and reporting. You will be responsible for managing these relationships, addressing client inquiries, providing updates on project progress, and proactively identifying opportunities to improve their analytics setup. While not directly responsible for contractual agreements or sales, you will be the main point of contact for your clients.
This role provides an excellent opportunity to further develop your client management and stakeholder engagement skills. You will receive guidance and support from senior team members to help you build strong, collaborative relationships with clients and internal stakeholders alike. This includes developing your ability to communicate complex technical information clearly and concisely to non-technical audiences, manage expectations, and navigate challenging situations. You will also have opportunities to manage internal stakeholders, such as specialists and account managers, to ensure the smooth delivery of projects and client satisfaction.
This is a hands-on role for a technically-minded individual who is passionate about data and eager to make a tangible impact on our clients’ digital marketing performance, while also developing their client relationship management skills.
