The North Carolina Office of the State Auditor (OSA) is seeking a Data Analytics Manager, to lead our data analytics team. This role is responsible for turning raw and prepared data into accessible information for OSA auditors, investigators, and operational staff.
OSA is the state’s Fiscal Watchdog. We hold state government and entities that receive public money accountable, working on behalf of North Carolinians to eliminate waste, fraud, and abuse.

This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits including:

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES / COMPETENCIES

  • Expertise in data visualization tools, such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Strong working knowledge of SQL, Python, or R
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and attention to detail skills

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in accounting and 12 semester hours in information technology or computer & information security from an appropriately accredited institution
