About the Role The Data Analytics Project Lead plays a critical role in building and scaling Grimes’ Data & AI function. This position exists to ensure that data initiatives—from data warehouse development to analytics delivery—are executed effectively, on time, and in close alignment with business needs. The role combines project leadership with hands-on analytics work, supporting reporting, data transformation, and stakeholder enablement as the data platform evolves. This is an execution-focused role suited for someone who enjoys both delivering data solutions and keeping complex initiatives organized. NOTE: This is a hybrid position with the candidate expected to report to our headquarters in Westborough, MA Key Responsibilities Lead planning and execution of data and analytics initiatives as Grimes builds and scales its data warehouse, BI environment, and ETL infrastructure, Support data transformation, validation, and integration efforts across internal systems and data sources. Implement dashboards and reporting solutions using BI tools such as Tableau. Coordinate cross-functional teams by leading meetings, reviewing progress, and managing timelines and deliverables with vendors and internal partners. Partner with team members to support ETL workflows and data pipeline enhancements. Translate business questions into clear data requirements, delivery plans, and measurable outcomes. Lead rollout and adoption of new Data & AI products by developing training materials and facilitating enablement sessions. Gather feedback post-launch and collaborate with the team to iterate and improve Data & AI products. Requirements 5 -7 years experience in business intelligence, or data-focused project roles required Strong, hands-on experience implementing dashboards using BI tools Strong understanding of SQL and other relational Database Proven ability to support or lead data projects, or analytics initiatives Excellent interpersonal and communications skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with high level non-technical stakeholders as well as technical development teams Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously Exposure to ETL tools, data modeling, or cloud-based data platforms such as Tableau preferred but not required Experience working with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud CRM preferred but not required Benefits We offer a comprehensive benefits package including: 401(k) retirement plan Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Health savings account Life insurance Disability insurance Employee assistance program Paid time off Parental leave Flexible hybrid work schedule Why Join Us?
