Description

We’re looking for a Data and Analyst Specialist to join our global technology powerhouse, specialized in energy and dedicated to enabling a more sustainable future.
Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights and championing a data-driven culture?
Cegal is seeking an experienced Data and Analytics Specialist to own and elevate our internal Power BI platform on a global scale.
You will administrate our internal Power BI, ensuring data is accessible, well-governed, and delivering maximum value across Cegal. You’ll collaborate across countries and legal entities, working closely with cross-functional teams in Sales, Finance, Operations, and more to lift Cegal’s data maturity to new heights.
This is an engaging opportunity to lead data governance adoption and make a lasting impact on how Cegal harnesses data for strategic advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Power BI Expertise: Extensive experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports, as well as administering the Power BI service (tenant-level settings, capacity management, workspace governance). You stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices.
  • Microsoft Fabric & Data Platform Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or similar analytics platforms (e.g. Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory). Broad knowledge of data management, including data integration, modeling, and architecture, to support robust end-to-end BI solutions.
  • Master Data Management: Solid experience working with or implementing master data management (MDM) practices and tools. You understand the value of accurate and consistent master data and how to align it with business processes across systems and domains.
  • Data Governance Acumen: Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and practices. Experience implementing or working with data stewardship programs, data cataloging, or data quality initiatives is highly desirable.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional projects and influence stakeholders at all levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across diverse teams and global regions.
  • Business Domain Insight: Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Familiarity with core business domains (Sales, Finance, Operations) and their data is an advantage, enabling you to tailor BI solutions that address real-world challenges.
  • Education & Certifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Azure certifications, or data governance certifications) are a plus.
